CHARLESTON — West Virginia child welfare officials are seeking a stay of proceedings in a long-running lawsuit concerning the state's foster care system following an appeals court decision that reversed a previous dismissal of the case. Ohio man sentenced on federal drug charge from Wetzel County

WHEELING – An Ohio man who transported methamphetamine to Wetzel County was sentenced this week to 10 years in federal prison, U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of West Virginia Matthew L. Harvey announced. Kyle Thomas Bryan, 33, of Warren, was sentenced Tuesday to 120 months in prison on a charge of possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine.
