RIPLEY – The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department is looking for a female suspect who was allegedly part of a massive theft from a residence near Evans. MINERAL WELLS – A young boy fell off a bridge at Woodridge Plantation early Wednesday evening causing serious injuries. The call came over the emergency radio system around 5 p.m. of a 9- to 10-year-old boy who fell 16-feet off of a bridge to the rocks below, dispatchers said. The boy was breathing, but severely injured. Crews called for a helicopter but it could not launch due to weather conditions, radio traffic indicated. PARKERSBURG – The West Virginia State Police said Monday that the man who died over the weekend after reportedly exchanging gunfire with Parkersburg and Wood County law enforcement is suspected of killing the woman whose body was found in their shared residence. Miguel Angel Gallegos, 49, of 3408 25th St., Parkersburg, was identified by 1st Sgt. C.J.
