* On Jan. 28, Lyle Jacob Swain, 23, of Parkersburg was arrested on a charge of first offense domestic battery.

* On Jan. 28, Terrance Edwin Mills, 20, of Parkersburg was arrested on warrants for breaking and entering and daytime burglary.

* On Jan. 28, Joshua W. Sheets, 30, of Parkersburg was arrested on a warrant for petit larceny.

* On Jan. 28, Ashley Brown of Parkersburg reported her residence was entered and items were taken.

* On Jan. 28, Sharon Farnsworth of Parkersburg reported her residence was entered and items were taken.

* On Jan. 28, Ramona Dahmer of Parkersburg reported someone entered her residence and items were taken.

* On Jan. 28, Karyn Jalbert of Parkersburg reported her residence was entered and numerous items were taken.

* On Jan. 16, Thomas E. Malone Sr., 37, of Parkersburg, was arrested on charges of petit larceny from a vehicle and entering an auto without breaking.

* On Jan. 26, Roger Lee Hubbard, 51, of Parkersburg, was arrested on a warrant for violation of a protection order.

* On Jan. 26, Andrew Paul Davis, 28, of Belpre, was arrested on a warrant for battery.

* On Jan. 26, Earl Richard Wright, 23, of Parkersburg, was arrested on a warrant for first offense shoplifting at Speedway.

* On Jan. 26, Lisa Dawn Wilson, 44, of Parkersburg, was cited on a charge of shoplifting at Wal-Mart.

* On Jan. 26, Patrick Donahue, 24, of Mineral Wells, was cited on a charge of shoplifting at Wal-Mart in Parkersburg.

PARKERSBURG – The Parkersburg Police Department released the following reports Jan. 22:

* Dustin Lee Steele, 20, of Parkersburg, was arrested Jan. 21 on charges of driving under the influence under 21 years of age and for a traffic control signal violation.

* Reginald R. Reed, 34, of Parkersburg, was arrested Jan. 21 on a charge of manufacture or delivery of narcotic drugs.

* Melinda R. Sees, 36, of Coolville, was cited Jan. 21 on a charge of first-offense shoplifting from Wal-Mart.

* On Jan. 21, officers responded to Dowler’s Tractor Sales and Service on Camden Avenue in reference to a breaking and entering that had already occurred. Owner Kathi Dowler and an employee advised that a hole was found cut into the chain link fence near the south east corner of the building. A Simplicity push snow blower, Troybilt pressure washer and a Kenda Super Turf tractor tire were reported stolen.

* On Jan. 21, officers responded to 29th Street in reference to a dispute in progress.

* On Jan. 21, officers responded to Rite Aid on Pike Street in reference to a shoplifting that had already occurred.

* On Jan. 21, officers investigated three motor vehicle accidents.

PARKERSBURG – The Parkersburg Police Department released the following reports on Jan. 21.

* On Jan. 20, Suean Chiffanese Guthrie, 22, of Parkersburg was arrested on a capias warrant.

* On Jan. 20, Billie Jo Richards, 33, of Parkersburg, was arrested on a capias warrant.

* On Jan. 20, Kevin Zachary Mason, 20, of Parkersburg was arrested on a capias warrant.

* On Jan. 20, Ryan Scott Anderson, 30, of Parkersburg was arrested on bench warrant for obstructing and second offense driving revoked for driving under the influence.

* On Jan. 20, Branden Keith Rash, 34, of Parkersburg was arrested for first offense domestic battery.

* On Jan. 20, officers responded to Lake Hills Court in reference to a burglary that had just occurred. Sharon Wells returned to her residence and noticed her kitchen window was partially open and then found the rear sliding door to be unlocked. She entered her residence and discovered most of the rooms had been ransacked. Once the officers arrived and a walkthrough was completed, she did find several items to have been stolen.

* On Jan. 20, officers responded to Speedway on Seventh Street in reference to a petit larceny that had already occurred.

* On Jan. 20, officers responded to 10th Avenue in reference to an attempted burglary that had already occurred. Sandra Mullins, the homeowner’s daughter, advised that the home is vacant at present and when she arrived to check the residence she found the storm door ajar and tool marks on the door knob, but the door was still secure. It does not appear entry inside the home was made.

* On Jan. 20, Delbert Williams contacted Parkersburg Police Headquarters and reported his gold revolver stolen from his residence.

* On Jan. 20, Rayne Guajardo contacted Parkersburg Police Headquarters and advised he was the victim of a false pretenses-fraudulent scheme. Guajardo responded to an advertising opportunity through Craigslist for the company Neon Energy Drink and the check payments he received from the company were determined by his financial institution to be fraudulent.

* On Jan. 20, officers responded to Oak Street in reference to a petit larceny that had already occurred. Ronald Joy advised that he had several items stolen from his residence.

* On Jan. 20, officers responded to Dunkin Donuts on Division Street in reference to a counterfeit bill received.

* On Jan. 20, officers responded to 19th Street in reference to a destruction of property. Paul Clark advised that someone known to him deliberately broke the front window of his residence.

* On Jan. 20, officers responded to Seventh Avenue in reference to a possible burglary that had just occurred. The complainant, Matthew Zyla, advised that he woke to pounding noises and observed suspicious persons on his neighbor’s front porch exiting the apartment carrying a television.

* On Jan. 20, officers investigated six motor vehicle accidents.

PARKERSBURG – The Parkersburg Police Department released the following reports Jan. 20:

* Robert Lee Krafft, 30, of Parkersburg, was arrested Jan. 14 on charges of obstructing and disorderly conduct.

* Mary Elizabeth Ann Adams, 25, of Parkersburg, was arrested Jan. 14 on a charge of domestic battery.

* Austin Nicholas Buchanan, 21, of Parkersburg, was arrested Jan. 14 on charges of possession of a controlled substance and shoplifting.

* Jamie Lee Dye, 25, of Parkersburg, was arrested Jan. 14 on a warrant for shoplifting at Kmart in Parkersburg and for shoplifting at Wal-Mart.

* Benjamin Allen Shaffer, 28, of Belpre, was arrested on Jan. 14 on charges of driving on a license revoked for driving under the influence, possession of a controlled substance and reckless driving.

* Katie Ellise Rogers, 18, of Parkersburg, was cited Jan. 14 on a charge of shoplifting at the Dollar General in Parkersburg.

* On Jan. 14, Kailee Boyles of Parkersburg reported that money and keys were taken from her rental room.

* On Jan. 14, officers responded to Rural King in Parkersburg in reference to a grand larceny.

* On Jan. 14, Joseph Linkinoggor of Parkersburg reported that someone took a package from the front porch of his residence that had been delivered by the U. S. Postal Service.

* On Jan. 14, Clarence Lynch of Parkersburg reported that someone removed a tablet and cash from his residence.

* On Jan. 19, Carol Oldaker contacted Parkersburg Police Headquarters and reported an unknown company unlawfully withdrew a substantial amount of funds from her banking account over a period of a few days.

* On Jan.19, officers responded to Speedway on 7th Street in reference to a petit larceny that had already occurred.

* On Jan. 19, Matthew Gabbert reported that someone had intentionally damaged his rental property on Latrobe Street.

* On Jan. 19, officers responded to 23rd Street in reference to a destruction of property. Miranda McLaughlin advised that an unknown person(s) slashed a tire on her vehicle and a friend’s vehicle while they were parked in the driveway behind her residence.

* On Jan. 19, Suean Guthrie contacted Parkersburg Police Headquarters and reported her purse stolen.

* On Jan. 19, Brett Lyons reported that he discovered two unauthorized transactions were made using his bank account: an online purchase and an ATM withdrawal.

* On Jan. 19, officers responded to Division Street Extension in reference to a burglary that had just occurred. Shannon Piggott returned to his residence and discovered damage to the side door entry and looking through the window of the door he noticed a kitchen chair was knocked over. Once officers arrived and cleared the residence, Piggott did find items to be missing.

* On Jan.19, officers responded to Worthington Street in reference to a petit larceny that had already occurred.

* On Jan.19, officers responded to 7-Eleven on 7th Street in reference to a shoplifting that had already occurred.

* On Jan.19, officers responded to Beaver Street in reference to a burglary that had already occurred. Donna Rood advised that an unknown person entered her residence and stole items from inside.

PARKERSBURG – The Parkersburg Police Department released the following reports Jan. 13:

* Dexter Eugene Marks Jr., 26, of Parkersburg, was arrested Jan. 11 on charges of fleeing while driving under the influence, driving on a suspended license, failure to maintain control, failure to use a turn signal, a parking violation, reckless driving, running a stop sign, traveling in the center lane, unsafe equipment and obstructing.

* Dakota Allen Sayre, 23, of Given, W.Va., was cited Jan. 11 on a charge of shoplifting at Wal-Mart in Parkersburg.

* Jennifer Louise Boggess, 28, of Given, W.Va., was cited Jan. 11 on a charge of shoplifting at Wal-Mart in Parkersburg.

* Alisha Dawn Small, 35, of Parkersburg, was cited Jan. 11 on a charge of second-offense shoplifting.

* On Jan. 11, Billy Kidder of Parkersburg reported that someone entered his vehicle and removed items.

* On Jan. 11, Ann Deaton of Parkersburg reported that someone damaged her vehicle by cutting all four valves off of her tires.

* On Jan. 11, Loretta Emerick of Parkersburg reported that someone damaged her door by trying to gain entry to her residence. They were unable to gain entry.

* On Jan. 11, Jeremy Gandee of Parkersburg reported that the side door of his residence was kicked in and medication was missing from his residence.
