Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG –Wood County Magistrate Court heard the following cases on March 13:

* Lindsey Tibbs III, 41, c/o #30 Berlsire Court, Washington, W.Va., waived a preliminary hearing on two counts of shoplifting, third-offense, and one count of auto larceny

* Orbin Louis Swisshelm, 58, 4513 Hilty Road, Murrysville, Pa., was arraigned on charges of false pretenses and worthless check. He was released on a $5,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Billie Jo Dye, 40, 905 14th St., Parkersburg, shoplifting, a second offense, and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Stephen Paul Garner Jr., 25, 1210 Broadway Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to receiving or transferring stolen goods and was sentenced to one year of unsupervised probation and assessed $210.25 in court costs and fines.

* Russell Norman Hinzman, 35, 1309 Camden Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of counterfeit with intent to utter and was sentenced to one year of unsupervised probation, ordered to pay $20 restitution to the victim and assessed $160.25 in court costs and fines.

* Janet Maley, 40, 1900 Princeton St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to two charges of compulsory education offenses and was assessed $420.50.

* Shawna Robinson, 48, 4506 Packard St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of truancy and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Devan Anderson, 28, 21260 State Route 676, Apartment 5, Marietta, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, heroin, and as part of a plea agreement was dismissed on a charge of trespassing. He was sentenced to six months probation and assessed $160.25 in court costs and fines.

* Michael Pinkerton, 40, 312 North Fourth St., Clarksburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, methamphetamine, and was sentenced to one year of unsupervised probation and assessed $160.25 in court costs and fines.

* Renate Shantel Trippett, 30, 1119 Paden St., Apartment B, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving while suspended or revoked and was assessed $260.25 in court costs and fines and as part of a plea agreement was dismissed on the charges of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and no insurance.

* Joshua Miller, 36, 394 Garrison Lane, Waverly, pleaded guilty to driving while suspended or revoked, no insurance and improper registration and was assessed $620.50 in court costs and fines.

* Bobbie Lee Fulkerson, 52, 199 Ryanwood village, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to DUI by medication and was assessed $335.25 in court costs and fines.

* Carl Clayton Robinson, 30, 621 33 St. Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to reporting a false emergency and was sentenced to one year of unsupervised probation, 75 hours of community service through the Day Reporting Center and assessed $160.25 in court costs and fines.

* Kristopher Michael Williamson, 26, of Cleveland, pleaded no contest to domestic assault and as part of a plea agreement, a charge of destruction of property was dismissed. He was sentenced to one year of probation, ordered to pay $936.34 in restitution to the victim and assessed $160.25 in court costs and fines.

PARKERSBURG — Wood County Magistrate Court released the following reports March 14:

* A charge of unlawful taking of a vehicle was dismissed against Brady Dawn Barker, 34, 504 Hickory St., Parkersburg, because the officer and alleged victim did not appear.

* Ryan Matthew Dailey, 36, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to domestic battery and unlawful restraint of another person. He was sentenced to time served and assessed $360.50 in court costs and fines.

* A charge of domestic battery was dismissed against Nathan Tyler Farley, 23, Parkersburg, because the alleged victim did not appear.

* William Charles Lipps, 47, 614 Lulu St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a charge of public intoxication and disorderly conduct. He was assessed $330.50 in court costs and fines.

* Shawn Anthony Pritt, 40, 1006 Middle Patch Road, Gallagher, W.Va., pleaded guilty to shoplifting. He was assessed $170.25 in court costs and fines and was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $946.88 to the victim.

* A compulsory education charge was dismissed against Charles Lewis Webb, 45, 1331 Latrobe St., Parkersburg, at the request of the Wood County Board of Education.

* Derek Lee Burke, 21, 2031 16th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a charge of no operator’s license and was assessed $165.25 in court costs and fines.

* Joshua Richard Knopp, 28, 603 41st St., Vienna, pleaded guilty to a charge of obstructing and was assessed $210.25 in court costs and fines.

* Kyle Jordan Hendershot, 235 Dempsie Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shooting within 500 feet of a dwelling and was sentenced to unsupervised probation for one year and assessed $180.25 in court costs and fines.

* Tanya L. Whicker, 38, 3710 10th Ave., Vienna, pleaded guilty to operating without inspection, driving too fast for roadway conditions and no insurance. As part of a plea agreement, charges of driving on a suspended or revoked license and a second charge of operating without inspection were dismissed. She was assessed $690.75 in court costs and fines.

* Gina Nicole Hand, 49, homeless, pleaded guilty to a charge of trespassing. As part of a plea agreement, a second charge of trespassing was dismissed. She was sentenced to time served and assessed $160.25 in court costs.

* Justin Lee Moore, 28, 4212 16th Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of grand larceny and released on a $25,000 surety bond.

* William Cory Wilson, 41, Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of violating a protective order and was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Ryan Holmes Ewing, 28, 2028 17th St., Apt 11, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to charges of obstructing, fleeing and receiving or transferring stolen goods. As part of a plea agreement, a second charge of obstruction was dismissed. He was assessed $58.75 and sentenced to 30 days home confinement.

* Rocky Lee Allender, 62, 16 Bank St., Marietta, pleaded guilty to obstruction and driving while impaired. As part of a plea agreement, charges of disorderly conduct, assault and battery were dismissed. He was assessed $450 in court costs and fines and sentenced to time served.

* Angela Dianna Dennis, 48, 1003 Virginia Ave., Parkersburg, waived her preliminary hearing on a charge of grand larceny. Her case was bound over to the Wood County Circuit Court for grand jury consideration.

* Stacia Renee Seebaugh, 27, 1902 Nash St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of obstruction and disorderly conduct and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

* Timothy McMahon, 48, 5402 Emerson Ave., Parkersburg, waived his preliminary hearing on two charges of receiving or transferring stolen goods. His case was bound over to Wood County Circuit Court for grand jury consideration.

* Cory Phillip Cox, 28, 1008 30th St., Parkersburg, waived his preliminary hearing on 24 charges of fraudulent use of an access device after allegedly stealing two debit/credit cards and using them to buy items. He was charged for each reported use of the cards. His case was bound over to Wood County Circuit Court for grand jury consideration.
