Three Mid-Ohio Valley residents among West Virginia COVID deaths
CHARLESTON — Three people from the region were confirmed as deaths from the COVID-19 coronavirus on Monday by the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources. Statewide active cases of the COVID-19 coronavirus also dropped by 100 since the last pandemic pandemic update on Thursday, the department said. The state Monday reported 665 active cases of the virus, down from 765 reported on Thursday. No updates were issued over the weekend or on Friday, which was Veterans Day and a holiday.
