West Virginia reports no COVID deaths between Tuesday and Wednesday

CHARLESTON — No deaths from the COVID-19 coronavirus were reported in West Virginia in the 24-hour period between Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, but hospitalizations jumped more than 30, the Department of Health and Human Resources said. CHARLESTON — Active COVID-19 cases in West Virginia pushed 2,300 Friday, and the County Alert System map got more yellow. According to the latest data from the state Department of Health and Human Resources, there were 710 new cases reported from Thursday to Friday morning. Active COVID cases climb above 2,100 in West Virginia

CHARLESTON — Active cases of the COVID-19 coronavirus were above 2,100 Thursday, according to the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources. Active cases of the virus were at 2,105 on Thursday, up from 2,014 on Wednesday. Statewide confirmed cases have been floating around 1,800 to 2,200 for the past few weeks.
