CHARLESTON — Hospitalizations increased while active cases dipped, according to Wednesday’s COVID-19 update from the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources. PARKERSBURG — The Mid-Ohio Valley Health Department has received a $50,000 award to support COVID-19 response efforts through its Medical Reserve Corps. The Medical Reserve Corps is a national network of volunteers, organized locally to improve the health and safety of their communities. CHARLESTON — No deaths from the COVID-19 coronavirus have been reported for the second consecutive day in West Virginia, according to the Department of Health and Human Resources and its Thursday morning pandemic report.
