West Virginia reports nine new COVID deaths over past week
CHARLESTON — Nine more people have died from the COVID-19 coronavirus since last week in West Virginia, the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources said Wednesday in its weekly virus update. The deaths included a 43-year-old woman from Nicholas County, the department said. Pandemic updates changed from Monday through Friday to Wednesday-only this week. The nine deaths since last week raise the total number to 7,935. Also confirmed are the deaths of a 79-year-old woman from Ohio County, a 68-year-old woman from Lincoln County, a 64-year-old man from Randolph County, ...
