Fortney-Trembly

Don and Drenda Trembly of Newark and Kenny Fortney of Vincent and Nancy Fortney of Reno are pleased to announce the engagement of their children, Donald Trembly II and Cassandra Fortney.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of the late Calvin “Gene” Trembly and Alberta Martin and Lloyd Gates and Althea DeVore. He is a graduate of Warren High School. He was a sergeant in the U.S. Army for 10 years and is employed at the Department of the Treasury, Bureau of Fiscal Service as an IT specialist.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Guy and the late Betty Stephens and the late Kenneth “Tink” and Betty Fortney of Vincent. She is a graduate of Warren High School and Washington State Community College in business management and administration.

She is employed at the Department of the Treasury, Bureau of Fiscal Service as an IT specialist.

A wedding is planned for Sept. 13 at their home in Marietta.
