Wood Magistrate
PARKERSBURG — The following cases were released by Wood County Magistrate Court on April 1:
* Tyler Edward Mackey, 11 Shepard St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of destruction of property and released on a $500 surety/cash bond.
* Rebbecca L. Payton, 119 Dempsey Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), having no MVI and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.
* Robert Nathan Castillo 1701 20th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a red light violation and fined $181.48. He had a charge of failure to make an address change on an operator’s license dismissed.
* Lloyd Michael Wamsley, 1705 Rayon Dr., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $201.48. He was ordered to pay a $237.34 civil penalty to Walmart.
* Bailey Eugene Keel, 1310 Oak St., Parkersburg, had a charge of second-offense domestic battery dismissed without prejudice.
* A preliminary hearing waived for a charge of conspiracy to manufacture, deliver, possess with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance was dismissed against Jason Bradford, 205 Riddle Road, Cincinnati. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Joseph Andrew Fielder, 6380 Muskingum River Road, Lowell, had a charge of violating an emergency protective order dismissed after a witness failed to appear in court. There was no objection from the state.
* Matthew Wayne Carpenter, 14291 Staunton TPK, Walker, had charges of violating a protective order, violating a protective order – condition of bail, probation or parole (three counts) dismissed after Family Court ruled there was no domestic violence and the state does not want to prosecute.
* James Michael Wright, 2304 8th Ave., Vienna, had charges of fleeing in a vehicle, obstruction with threats of harm, domestic assault, assault of government representatives, health care providers, utility workers, law enforcement dismissed due to stale warrants and the wishes of the alleged victim.
* Lavontez Samuel Chisolm, 2512 39th St. Apt. 1A, Parkersburg, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed without prejudice as the alleged victim does not wish to prosecute.
* Jesse Scott Books, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to fleeing, fined $206.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. A charge of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Joceline Nichole Stephens, 2201 16th St. Apt. 6A, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to trespassing and fined $226.48.
* Maria Teresa Rutherford, 25 Lane Road, Vincent, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $201.48. She was ordered to pay a $222.94 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Parkersburg.
* Levi Uriah Bills, 553 6th St., St. Marys, pleaded guilty to speeding in a construction zone (64 mph in a 55 mph zone). He had a charge of driving on a suspended license dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Johnny Ray Ball, 2785 Oak Hill Road, Cutler, Ohio, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed without prejudice as the alleged victim wanted to dismiss the charge.
* Travis Johnathon Suttle, PO Box 32, Belpre, pleaded guilty to reckless driving with no bodily injury and fined $676.48. He had a charge of DUI (alcohol) dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Jason Lee Southall, 1215 ½ 23rd St., Parkersburg, had charges of third-offense driving on a suspended license, having no proof of insurance and having no registration dismissed after he corrected issues and has produced valid insurance, registration and license.
* Roger Dale Grimm, 126 Forest Drive Apt. 102, Parkersburg, had a charge of having no proof of insurance and no operator’s license dismissed after obtaining proof of insurance and had his driver’s license renewed.
* Trevor William Brown, 1219 South Rocky River Road, Monroe, N.C., pleaded guilty to speeding (73 mph in a 55 mph zone) and fined $186.48.
* Robert Burl Vance Jr.. 104 South First Ave., Paden City, pleaded guilty to speeding (64 mph in a 55 mph zone) and fined $181.48.
* James Allen Garcia, 16 Bosley Branch Road, Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to speeding (75 mph in a 55 mph zone) and fined $181.48.
* Daniel G. Morris Jr., 808 Edgelawn St. Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a traffic-control signal violation and fined $181.48.
