PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on April 24:
* Melissa Dawn Gregg, 3528 1/2 Roseland Ave., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived for a charge of embezzlement. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Essie Virginia Miller, 132 Canterbury Dr., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to obstruction and was fined $680.25. Charges of driving under the influence and failure to be fingerprinted were dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Colten Riely Luther, 290 New Banks Rd., Parkersburg, pleaded no contest to speeding and was fined $175.25.
* Naloni Shai Williams, 83 Post Mill Way Apt. 402, Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to having no insurance and was fined $180.25. A charge of having no operators license was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Christopher Maurice Davis, 991 Hammel St., Akron, Ohio, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on $500 bond.
* Alicia Dawn Brannon, 1909 36th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of trespassing in a placarded structure and released on $250 bond.
* Michael Rai Malhotra, 224 East Wildwood Dr., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of reckless driving and released on $500 bond.
* Christopher O’Neil Northrop, 911 Dewey Ave., St. Marys, was arraigned on charges of expired registration, failure to maintain control and leaving the scene of an accident and released on $1,000 bond.
* Lori Fay Fluharty, 1653 Winding Rd., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of trespassing and released on $500 bond.
* Christian Dangelo Rodriguez, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge violating a domestic violence protection order and held on $1,500 bond.
* Adam Taylor Lacava, Ravenswood, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on $1,000 bond.
* Michael Edwin Taylor, 1725 Latrobe St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of trespassing and released on $250 bond.
* Daniel N. Weigner, 660 Diamond Ave., Indiana, Pa., pleaded guilty to speed limitations and was fined $175.25.
* Robert David Roesh, 41 Wyndham Knob, Parkersburg, pleaded no contest to traffic-control legend and was fined $180.25.
* Michael P. Clark, 321 Walnut St., Belpre, pleaded guilty to having no seatbelt and was fined $25.
* Christopher Todd Smith, 2906 29th St. Apt. 2, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of destruction of property and released on $10,000 bond.
* Zachary Scott Miller, 559 6th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of possession of a controlled substance and released on $1,000 bond.
* Rodger Lee Smith, 105 WPA Rd., Walker, had a charge of third-offense driving on a revoked license for DUI dismissed without prejudice. The officer did not appear at the hearing.
