PARKERSBURG – A bridge on Jesterville Road (Wood County 4/4) about two-and-a-half miles from West Virginia 68 is closed indefinitely due to structural damage.

An announcement from the West Virginia Division of Highways District 3 said the bridge will be closed until repairs can be made. Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour by going from Jesterville Road to Ridge Road, then south to Rosemar Road and east to West Virginia 68.

Additional information on the issue affecting the bridge was not immediately available Tuesday.
