Roger Andrew Perine

Roger Andrew Perine, born Feb 27, 1942, at home in Vincent, Ohio, to William Brooks Perine and Margaret E. Davis Perine. Roger was a graduate of Vincent High School, Vincent, Ohio, and Wheeling Jesuit University. He also attended Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, and attended classes at WVUP. He enjoyed studying various cultures, geography, and history. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed traveling and visiting places he had never been before. He visited all 50 states and several foreign countries in Europe, Asia, and North America including the Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico. He retired from Huntsman Chemical Co. LLC/Shell Chemical Co. after more than 31 plus years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his only brother, Leonard B. Perine and his first wife Shirley, and is survived by his second wife Virginia and his children Kelley, Brian, Benjamin Perine, Rebecca Anderson (Tom) and stepchildren, Angela Gregory and Genene Taylor. Grandchildren, Henry and Margaret (twins), Lorenzo Anderson, Dedric and Peyton Taylor, and Brianna Jones. Great grandson Grayson Jones-Rogers, Marvin Sowers and Horace Taylor. Nieces and nephews, Chris Guesman, James, Jody and Andrew Perine. Also surviving are cousins, Donna Reed and Carol Foster (Gary) and lifetime best friends, Roger Palmer and Bill Turner.

A special thanks to Mac Washington for all his help taking care of Roger over the last several years. The family would like to thank the Buckeye Home Health Care for their care.

There will be no visitation or services.
