Glenville State College lab bears name of graduates

Nancy Lemon and Michael Rust

GLENVILLE — The Health and Human Performance Lab for use by Glenville State College students enrolled in health-related academic programs has been named in honor of two supporters.

The lab is dedicated to Nancy Lemon and Michael Rust. Nancy attended GSC in the early 1970s.

She and her husband Michael, who is a 1973 GSC graduate, currently reside in Louisville, Kentucky.

The Rusts have strong feelings of gratitude for their time spent in Glenville, and are committed to providing future students with the same opportunities they received during their time on campus. Nancy is the daughter of Lawrence and Barbara Lemon of Parkersburg, West Virginia. Michael is a member of GSC’s Board of Governors.

Around $60,000 in equipment and furnishings were purchased for the lab with funds donated by the Rusts. The lab is located in the Health and Physical Education Building on GSC’s main campus.
