Cheryl Lee Chambers, 72, of Parkersburg, WV, passed away on June 3, 2026.

Born on April 27, 1954, in Parkersburg, WV, Cheryl was the daughter of Helen Curry and Robert Rader.

Cheryl worked at Shoney’s Restaurant for over 40 years and at Worthington Nursing Home. She attended Emanuel Baptist Church and enjoyed reading, caring for others, and spending time with her cats.

She is survived by her daughter, Erin Chambers of Parkersburg, WV; brothers, Steve (Kathy) Shaffer of Reedsville, OH, and Perry Rader of Parkersburg, WV; and sisters, Malinda Shepperd, Mona Sue Smith, Crystal Bradshaw, and Shelia Curry.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen Curry and Robert Rader; brothers, Larry Rader, Gary Rader, Tim Shaffer, and Eugene Rader; sisters, Paula, Tammy, and Barbara; and her niece, Tina Spears.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 8, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home and Memory Gardens, 1934 Dupont Road, Parkersburg, WV 26101. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
