CHARLESTON — A resident of Wetzel County was one of the four deaths from COVID-19 complications reported Friday by the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources. The state reported the deaths of a 74-year-old man from Wetzel County, an 80-year-old woman from Mason County, a 75-year-old man from Hardy County and an 89-year-old woman from Berkeley County. No more vaccination clinics for Mid-Ohio Valley Health Department

PARKERSBURG — Residents are being referred by the Mid-Ohio Valley Health Department to their health care provider, pharmacies and vaccines.gov to arrange for a second COVID-19 coronavirus booster shot. The health department will not hold large-scale vaccination clinics because of low demand for the shots, spokesman Malcomb Lanham said. CHARLESTON — Eight more residents have died from the COVID-19 coronavirus between Wednesday and Thursday, the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources said. CHARLESTON — Another three Wood County residents have died from complications from the COVID-19 coronavirus, the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources reported on Wednesday. The department reported the deaths a 37-year-old man, a 51-year-old man and an 85-year-old woman from Wood County.
