Class action suit filed by Morgantown hospital employee recorded in restroom

MORGANTOWN – A class action lawsuit has been filed in Monongalia County Circuit Court on behalf of individuals who were unknowingly recorded by cameras hidden in non-public bathrooms at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. The suit was filed Sept. 1 against West Virginia University Hospitals Inc. and West Virginia United Health System Inc. by an individual identified as P.J.P. on behalf of herself and all others similarly situated. Belpre man indicted for violating protection order 13 times

MARIETTA – A Belpre man facing 13 counts of violating a protection order, among other charges, was among 16 people indicted this week by the Washington County Grand Jury. Timothy Paul Satterfield, 45, was indicted on a fourth-degree felony count of menacing by stalking and a third-degree felony count of tampering with evidence, in addition to the 13 fifth-degree felony counts of violating a protection order and a first-degree misdemeanor charge of intimidation of an attorney, victim or witness in a criminal case.
