PARKERSBURG -- A pedestrian was taken to WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center after being struck by a vehicle Thursday afternoon, according to the Parkersburg Police Department.
Officers responded to the intersection of Fifth and Avery streets at approximately 2:30 p.m. Aug. 27 for a reported vehicle-pedestrian crash.
The pedestrian was transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash. Police did not release the person's identity or information about the extent of the injuries.
The crash remains under investigation. No additional information was immediately available.
