A document issued Friday by the City of Parkersburg in relation to a referendum petition was a letter from City Clerk Connie Shaffer to LaDonna Reid with the petition committee. The required number of signatures was 2,763. Incorrect information appeared in an article about the petition effort in Sunday’s edition.
