HUNTINGTON – A member of the Logan baseball team who is making football his career path created the loudest impact in a Class AA state quarterfinal game with Doddridge County. COLUMBUS, Ohio — Over the weekend, three local track athletes from three different schools found themselves on the podium at the OHSAA state track championships at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. Marietta junior Ian Putnam competed in the 3200 on Saturday, crossing in 9 minutes, 2.33 seconds to place third and make All-Ohio. Putnam’s time broke his own school record.
