Letter to the Editor: Stop the land grab (continued)

Previously, I wrote about Biden’s 30×30 Plan, later renamed the America the Beautiful Plan. Here is more information I omitted due to lack of space.
The 30×30 Plan is supported by George Soros, Michael Bloomberg, John Podesta, Julian Casto, Bill Gates, Stacy Abrams and other elitist liberals who will directly benefit from this unconstitutional transfer of land and wealth, as there is no law or constitutional provision granting the president power to transfer 30% of U.S. lands to Washington bureaucrats.
In 1803, President Thomas Jefferson made the Louisiana Purchase, a total of 531 million acres, from France. Biden’s proposed land grab is over 151 million acres larger, essentially the Louisiana Purchase in reverse.
This land would be permanently “conserved” from all human use. No drilling for oil or gas. No mining, forestry, livestock grazing, hunting, fishing and boating.
All eventually gone. Even wildfires would be allowed to burn freely. Imagine the smoke hazard to the rest of the country. Remember the recent Canadian wildfires and resulting smoke hazards?
The Endangered Species Act was supposed to help animals in danger of extinction, but it is too often used to stop ranchers, farmers and miners from using their land — eventually bankrupting them out of business.
The Department of the Interior is working with extreme environmental groups to classify 757 species as endangered. For example, the “prairie chicken.” In declaring this grouse a threatened species, they seek to impose strict regulations covering 100 million acres of private land in 11 western states. Their real goal is ending oil and gas drilling, not saving a few “chickens.” Once a species is added to the endangered list, it stays there forever without removal, even when the species is thriving, ending farming and ranching.
On Feb. 16, 2021, the House passed H.R. 803, a bill permanently protecting 1.5 million acres of new “wilderness.” Also, the bill withdrew 1.2 million acres of rare earth materials from being mined. Minerals we now must purchase from China for our high tech devices because we now can’t mine them here.
The Biden Administration pushed Congress to get this done fast, to advance the 30×30 land grab before Americans realized what has happened, guised as “conservation.”
Everyone should contact their federal, state and local representatives and demand they oppose Biden’s illegal land grab.
