Letter to the Editor: Imposing beliefs on others
(Letter to the Editor - Graphic Illustration/MetroCreativeConnection)
Just saw a story recently on TV news at noon with the local head of the Climate Activists. That person was concerned about whales with a stomach full of plastic and said it was TRAGIC. What about the intentional murder of unborn babies on a daily basis? Is that not TRAGIC? Yes, it is not good that whales are ingesting plastic either dumped in the ocean or deposited on the shores and making its way into the sea. But, whales do not have souls. The intentional, pre-meditated murder of thousands of unborn babies each day through abortion does not bring any reaction out of the local climate geniuses. They are more concerned about plastic bags, spoons and forks and the like than they are with the murder of the unborn.
Yes, God made the whales, but Jesus did not die for the whales. He died for us, yes, even the climate people and the God deniers, and all atheist proponents we see all the time.
We should be concerned about the littering of our world with plastic, but perhaps those who want us to be more aware of the problem would like to go back to the past without plastic? Those who make their living using computers and other technologies cannot function without plastic. I dare say a lot of those in the climate activist world use computers. Why not make computers out of wood? What about plastic toothbrushes? Let’s go back to when they were made out of wood. Or better yet, just use baking soda on your finger to brush your teeth.
How about making your own pottery or carving your own knives, forks, and spoons out of wood or animal bones? Or better yet, just eat with your hands! These groups would like to do away with all of the inventions made from plastic that make our lives better and easier. I am sure if they would like to really live in a place without all of the plastic implements there are places in some part of the world where they do not exist. They (climate people) do not like what some do with plastic that they want ALL PEOPLE to suffer in a modern world without the improvements scientists have developed for us.
They want to impose their beliefs and values upon all of us. It is matter of them wanting to control us.
