George David “Dave” Treharne

George David “Dave” Treharne, 83, passed away April 20, 2026, after a life devoted to family, friendship, and service to his community. Dave was born in 1943 in Wausau, Ohio, to Samuel and Marjorie Treharne. He grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, alongside his sister Jean Wagner, who preceded him in death in 2024. He graduated from Parkersburg High School in 1960 and later attended West Virginia University in Morgantown, where he received his bachelor’s degree in 1964.
