Joey King, 27, of Parkersburg passed away March 23, 2026. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg. A memorial service will be held the following week at 1 p.m. April 8 at the funeral home.

Earl William Smith, 79, of New Martinsville, WV passed peacefully on Friday, March 27, 2026 with his wife and family by his side. Earl was born June 23, 1946, in Parkersburg, WV son of the late Earl and Mary Virginia (Buskirk) Smith. He was a retired Commercial Insurance Agent (which he enjoyed very much), a U.S. Navy veteran having served in Vietnam as a 1st Class Petty Officer on the USS Forrestal and USS Valcour AVP-55. Francis Marion Walker, 83, of Elkview, W.Va., died March 25, 2026, at her home. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. William L. Monk officiating. William Gene “Bill” Yoho, 85 of Washington, WV, passed away March 27, 2026 at Worthington Manor Nursing Facility. He was born April 4, 1940, a son of the late Clyde J. and Amy B. Dolen Yoho. Mr. Yoho, affectionately known as “Cowboy Bill,” worked as a Carpenter in his early years and later on, worked at DuPont as a Laborer. He was a graduate of Parkersburg High, class of 1957.
