William “Bill” Yoho

William Gene “Bill” Yoho, 85 of Washington, WV, passed away March 27, 2026 at Worthington Manor Nursing Facility. He was born April 4, 1940, a son of the late Clyde J. and Amy B. Dolen Yoho.

Mr. Yoho, affectionately known as “Cowboy Bill,” worked as a Carpenter in his early years and later on, worked at DuPont as a Laborer. He was a graduate of Parkersburg High, class of 1957. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Air Force. Bill was a long-time member of the Hopewell Church of Christ.

Surviving is his son, Gene Yoho of Washington, three brothers: Gale Yoho of Cadiz, OH, Glen Yoho (Shirley) of Pettyville and Dean Yoho of Washington, two sisters: Jenoise Braham of Lubeck and Lorna Marshall of Parkersburg along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife Sandra Burton Yoho, brother Paul Yoho and sister Corrina Francis.

Funeral services will be Tuesday 1PM at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Evangelist Marvin Green officiating. Interment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 6-8PM and one hour prior to services.
