Anthony “Jack” Harris, 76, of Parkersburg, passed away September 4, 2020, at his residence.
He was born November 28, 1943, in Parkersburg, a son of the late Raymond Harris and Mary McGraw Harris Treadway.
Anthony was a United States Army Veteran and retired as an electrician from Walker Systems. He enjoyed being social in the community. He was a member of Fairlawn Baptist Church, DAV, Moose and the VFW.
He is survived by one daughter, Brenda Cunningham (Russ) of Parkersburg; two sons, Gerald Harris (Georgie) of Washington, WV and Jay Harris of Ritchie County; three sisters, Ginger Austin (Jeff) of Clarksburg, WV, Nancy Wilcox (Dave) of Parkersburg and Donna Byers of Parkersburg; one brother, Jim Treadway (Nellie) of Parkersburg; Grandkids, Corey Matheny of Parkersburg, Ashley Blanc (Brian) of Washington, WV, Preston Harris of Sissonville, WV, Austin Harris (Katie Knight) of Parkersburg, Logan Harris, Kyle Harris (Martha) of Ritchie County, Kelsey Harris of Parkersburg, McKena Cunningham of Parkersburg, Mason Cunningham of Parkersburg, Kennedy Harris of Wirt County, Randy Harris of Wirt County and Ryan Harris of Parkersburg. Great-grandkids, Shaylynn Blanc, Ashleys child, Blaiklynn Harris, Preston Harris’ Child, Ava Lea Harris, Austin Harris’ child and Hazel and Hunter Harris, Kyle Harris’ children.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Matthew Harris and brothers, Ed and Paul Harris.
Funeral services for Anthony will be 1 p.m. Thursday, September 10, 2020, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. Parkersburg, with Pastor Jason Spade officiating. Burial will follow the service in Sunset Memory Gardens, Parkersburg with full Military Honors by American Legion Post 15 of Parkersburg.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
