PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on April 11-13:

* Brandon Craig McIntire, 215 Valley Mills Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of being a fugitive from justice from Washington County, Ohio on charges of criminal damaging, trespassing, aggravated menacing, burglary and held on no bond. He was also arraigned on a charge of obstructing an officer and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

* Eddie Andrew Byers, #3 Worthington Lane Apt #8, Parkersburg, was arraigned on three counts of worthless check and released on a $300 personal recognizance bond.

* Johann Patrick Myers, 31 Cherry St., Richwood, W.Va., was arraigned on a charge of public intoxication and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Steven Verl Gaston, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of domestic assault and failure to process and fingerprint and released on a $600 surety bond.

* Thomas Wade Frankenberry, 2572 Hood Ave., Shinnston, W.Va., was arraigned on charges of malicious or unlawful assault and released on a $10,000 surety bond.

* Josey Cheyenne Barton, 225 1/2 Sheldon Ave., Marietta, was arraigned on a charge of third-offense shoplifting and held on a $5,000 surety bond.

* Gina Nichole Hand, 806 Lynn St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of making threats of terroristic acts and held on a $50,000 surety bond.

* David Michael Mullins, 133 Sams St., Washington, W.Va., was arraigned on a charge of third-offense driving on a suspended license and released on a $500 surety bond.

* Thomas Craig Scott, 94 Roy Rogers Road, Lucasville, Ohio, was arraigned on a charge of DUI with a juvenile and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

* Jason Edward Wyers, 2010 17th St. Apt. 1, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of DUI-driving in an impaired state and released on a $500 surety bond.

* Christopher Paul Gum, 1113 Highland Ave Apt 2, Williamstown, was arraigned on charges of driving on a suspended license and possession of a controlled substance and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Kyle Y. Life, 251 Belleville Dr., Belleville, was arraigned on charges of having no MVI, improper registration, having no insurance and having no registration and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Holly K. Caplinger, 1410 Grandview Manor, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of expired MVI, expired registration and having no proof of insurance and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Kayla Marie Shaffer, 618 Frantz Ave., Mullins, W.Va., was arraigned on a charge of shoplifting and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Tristin Scott Radcliff, 1602 Middle Fork Lee Creek Road, Belleville, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* James Jeremy Weltner, 1629 Badgley Fork Road, Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to trespassing in a condemned structure, obstruction with threats of harm and trespassing in a structure or conveyance and fined $652.96. A charge of second-offense shoplifting was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Christopher Wayne Hutson, 1010 Johnson Run Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to fleeing, obstruction with threats of harm and being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm, fined $579.44 and sentenced to nine months in jail which will run concurrent with a prison sentence in another case.

* Kyle Lee Beha, 248 Lick Run Road, Walker, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of child abuse by a parent, guardian, custodian or a person in a position of trust causing bodily injury. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Jason Lee Wilkinson, 2896 Bull Run Road, Waverly, had a preliminary hearing waived on charges of possession with intent to deliver, fleeing in a vehicle and the presentation of a firearm during the commission of a felony. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Austin Levi Shears, 121 High St., Marietta, pleaded guilty to having an expired motor vehicle registration and fined $357.96. He had a charge of operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate dismissed, per a plea agreement. He had a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription dismissed after a successful deferred sentence agreement.

* Sierra Dawn Leasure, 401C 13th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to child neglect creating a substantial risk of bodily injury, fined $176.48 and sentenced to three months in jail which was suspended and she was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.

* Cassandra Nichole Crawford, 2200 Fairview Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $181.48.

* Alaya Ashaye Chan, 122 Boulevard Road, Sumter, S.C., pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $181.48.

* Madisson B. Post, 1604 Hill St. Apt. 1, Belpre, pleaded guilty to using an electronic device without hands-free equipment and fined $100.

* James Ryan Mahoney, 700 31st St., Vienna, pleaded guilty to expired registration and fined $181.48.

* Martin D. Gibbs Jr., 201 Oak St., Marietta, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription and fined $201.48.

* George E. Crawford, 1975 7th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate and fined $181.48.

* Harold Claremont Elder, 115 Greenland Place, Washington, W.Va., pleaded guilty to expired registration and fined $186.48.

* Jessica Marie Nagy, 6103 Althea Drive, Concord Twp, Ohio, pleaded no contest to speeding and fined $186.48.

* Dawn Marie Fluharty, 2770 Loomis Ridge Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $191.48.

* Don A. Martin, 3066 Progress Ridge Road, Walker, pleaded guilty to having no seatbelt and fined $25. A charge of operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate was dismissed after proof was presented to the court.

* Kayla Marie Shaffer, 618 Frantz Ave., Mullens, W.Va., pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $201.48. She was ordered to pay a $383.06 civil penalty to Walmart.

* David Dewayne Jones, 1409 Ballinadee Drive, Salisbury, Md., pleaded guilty to speeding (74 mph in a 65 mph zone) and fined $181.48.

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on April 14:

* Michael Wayne Barker, 67 Hill Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of having no insurance and released on a $500 public recognizance bond.

* Daniel Keon Westfall, 534 5th St. Apt. 5, Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of violation of a protective order and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Abby Rae Akers, 507 Nicely Place, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of driving while impaired and obstructing an officer and released on a $1,500 surety bond.

* Hannah Louise Wilfong, 3329 Butcher Bend Road, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on a charge of shoplifting, less than $500, and released on a $250 personal recognizance bond.

* Connor John Roberts, 761 Windsor Drive, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on charges of obstructing an officer and underage consumption and released on a $500 surety bond.

* Tabitha Jean Davis, 601 33rd St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of having no insurance, having expired registration, having improper registration and having expired MVI and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Shanah Jade Burks, 1614 Staves Branch Road, Fraziers Bottom, W.Va., pleaded no contest to third-offense driving on a suspended license, having no insurance and driving too fast for roadway conditions, fined $879.44 and sentenced to 30 days in jail. A charge of having no registration was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Dustin Paul Schrader, Davisville, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed after a successful deferred sentence agreement.

* Scott Alan Wine, 1600 Pike Street Rm 30, Parkersburg, had two counts of failure to register transferred to Wood County Circuit Court after waiving a preliminary hearing.

* Ronald Todd Grimm, 807 33rd St., Parkersburg, had a charge of strangulation dismissed without prejudice after the alleged victim did not want to pursue the matter.

* Johann Patrick Myers, 51 Cherry St., Richwood, pleaded guilty to two counts of public intoxication and fined $181.48. A charge of obstruction with threats of harm was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Brittany Ann Botts c/o 1005 Lynn St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $186.48. She was ordered to pay a $77.60 civil penalty to Sheetz on Seventh Street in Parkersburg. She pleaded guilty to another charge of shoplifting and fined $186.48. She was ordered to pay a $56.64 civil penalty to Sheetz on Seventh Street.

* Aaron Lee Dobson, 3300 Kim St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription and fined $186.48.

* David Michael Hall, 408 Cutlip Lane, Parkersburg, had charges of expired registration and no insurance dismissed after presenting proof to the court.

* James Michael Nestor, 615 Putnam St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to having expired registration and no MVI and fined $457.96. He had charges of operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate and no registration dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Patricia Lynn Rexroad, 2805 Birch St. Trailer 18, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to having no operator’s license and fined $181.48.

* Arthur Robert Tewkesbury, Parkersburg, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed after the alleged victim did not wish to pursue charges.

* Micah Deon Carr, 939 Braun Ave., Belpre, had a charge of destruction of property dismissed after restitution was paid and the victim did not want to pursue the matter further.

* Michelle Renee Wright, Parkersburg, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed.

* Savannah Nichole Welch, 1107 29th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription and fined $186.48.

* Myles Gage Gribble, 219 Beechwood Drive, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding in a construction zone (84 mph in a 55 mph zone)

* Allison N Conrad, 14149 S Calhoun Hwy., Amoldsburg, pleaded guilty to having no seat belt and fined $25.

* Shawn Anthony Dugan, 7749 Veto Road, Belpre, pleaded no contest to driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48.
