Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on June 12:

* William Jackson Moran, 825 Seventh St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of trespassing in a placard building and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Stephanie Lynn Turner, South Charleston, was arraigned on charges of obstruction and domestic assault and held on a $1,500 surety bond.

* Max Eugene Lassiter, 739 Rising Sun Ridge Road, Walker, was arraigned on a charge of having no insurance and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Jeremy Nathan Lane, 2303 Murdoch Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of assault on a police officer, public intoxication, obstruction and failure to process and released on a $5,160 surety bond.

* Ronald Wayne Byers, 506 Hawthorne St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of escape and held on a $3,500 surety bond.

* Brittany Lee Nicole Bell, 800 Seventh St. Apt. 4A, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of receiving or transferring stolen property and held on a $15,000 surety bond.

* David John West, 44 Abbey Village Drive Apt 102. Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of violating a domestic violence protective order and released on a $1,500 surety bond.

* Jackie Anne Nay, 122 Sharon St., Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $196.48. She was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Parkersburg.

* Hunter Triphers Piatt, 709 Pomeroy Pike, Belpre, had a preliminary hearing waived for a charge of fleeing in a vehicle with reckless indifference.

* Shannon Marie Reynolds, 1312 Spring St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to fraudulent use of a credit card, fined $336.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.

* Garon Brooks Lowry, 413 Eighth St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to violating a protective order, fined $176.48 and sentenced to nine months in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. He was ordered to have no contact with the victim. Charges of second-offense violating a protective order and violating a protective order were dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Crystal Leann Evans, 825 Seventh St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting, less than $500, fined $176.48 and sentenced to six months in jail which was suspended and she was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. A charge of third offense shoplifting was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Mark D. Landeene, 13508 Arbor Trace Drive, Charlotte, N.C., pleaded no contest to a charge of failure to obey a traffic control device and fined $196.48.
