Storms hit area, causing downed trees

PARKERSBURG – A storm on Friday felled trees down in a number of areas in Wood and Wirt County, authorities said. “It has been all over the place,” a supervisor at the Wood County 911 Center said. “(Vienna and Elizabeth) have taken the majority of it.
