PARKERSBURG — The following cases were released by Wood County Magistrate Court on Aug. 8:
* Joshua Ray Barton, 941 Swann St., Apt. 3, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to two counts of shoplifting and was assessed a combined $552.96. He was ordered to pay civil penalties of $50 to the Marathon in Mineral Wells and $360 to Walmart in Vienna.
* Jamie Jacob Mills, 1337 St. Marys Ave., Parkersburg, had a charge of violation of a protective order dismissed without prejudice.
* Elliott Antonio Banks, 1441 Lebanon Pike, Nashville, Tenn., had a preliminary hearing waived for three counts of manufacture or possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver a Schedule I or II narcotic or meth. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Eric Shane Vest, Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of burglary. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Nathan Daniel Bibbee, 1706 19th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to battery, fined $211.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation where he has to report to the Wood County Day Report Center.
* Dakota Thomas Allerton, 1622 Avery St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to destruction of property, fined $201.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.
* Timothy Leon Overton, 510 Steel St., Youngstown, was found guilty of possession of a controlled substance, fined $176.48 and placed on six months of probation which was revoked after he couldn’t comply with the terms.
* Tamela Sue Ervin, 609 ½ Caroline Ave., Williamstown, pleaded guilty to fraudulent schemes, fined $201.48 and sentenced to 60 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one day of unsupervised probation. A charge of an attempted misdemeanor was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Angela Marie Swiger, 71 Lewis Lane, Elizabeth, pleaded guilty to obstruction (boating) and possession of a controlled substance on an access site, fined $902.96 and sentenced to 12 months in jail and one year of unsupervised probation after an unsuccessful deferred sentence agreement. Another charge of possession of a controlled substance on an access site was dismissed.
* Tiffany Rene Jameson, 84 Rolling Meadows, Elkins, pleaded guilty to failure to stop for a stop sign and possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on six months of unsupervised probation and fined $382.96. Charges of having expired registration and a seatbelt violation were dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Bryoni Cabrerra Robinson, 86 Oak St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to phone harassment and fined $236.48.
* Benjamin Carl Bauman, 1814 Love Hill Road, Waverly, pleaded guilty to speeding in a construction zone (15 mph or more in excess) and reckless driving (no injury) and fined $417.96
* Ronnie Lee Lockhart Jr., 3010 Camden Ave. Apt. C, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense driving on a suspended license and fined $436.48. A charge of having no insurance was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Barbara Lynn Bartlett, 1123 Lynn St. Apt. 1, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48. A charge of having no proof of insurance was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Danielle Sue Kuhens, 2515 Washington Blvd., Belpre, pleaded guilty to shoplifting, fined $276.48 and sentenced to 60 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. She was ordered to pay a $1,779.50 penalty to Gabes.
* Jonathan Eric Dye, 702 32nd St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to third-offense driving on a suspended license and second-offense DUI, fined $642.96 and sentenced to six months home confinement. Charges of speeding and operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate were dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Marissa Jane Leasure, 629 ½ 31st St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to DUI with a BAC of .15 or more, fined $481.48 and sentenced to two days in jail with 12 hours credited as time served.
* Brian Lester Enoch, 11163 Southern Highway, Elizabeth, had a charge of illegal turkey/goose hunting dismissed with prejudice.
* Patrick Lee Reisinger, 41 Delta Place, Davisville, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license for DUI, fined $276.48 and sentenced to home confinement for six months. He had a charge dismissed of driving on a third-offense revoked license for DUI.
* George Alan Barnhart, 928 Newbanks Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and having no insurance and fined $276.48. Charges of having defective equipment and improper registration were dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Travis Dwight Green, 930B Swann St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of third-offense shoplifting and held on a $20,000 surety bond.
* Heather Dawn Carter, 9555 South Calhoun Hwy., Millstone, W.Va., was arraigned on a charge of embezzlement and released on $2,500 personal recognizance bond.
* Jerry D. Lawson, 30958 Durst Ridge Road, Portland, Ohio, was arraigned on charges of having no insurance and improper registration and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.
* Penny A. Kirk, 12 Beech Circle, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on charges of expired registration and having no proof of insurance and released on $500 personal recognizance bond.
* Kaila Violetta Wright, 811 Wood St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of second-offense shoplifting, less than $500, and held on a $1,500 surety bond.
* Justin Allen Forshey, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on a $2,500 personal recognizance bond.
* Wanda Ann Gulley, 136 Central St., New Martinsville, was arraigned on a charge of battery and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.
* Jason Lamont Wade, 420 13th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of obstruction and failure to process and held on $2,000 surety bond.
* Austin James Parker, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on two counts of domestic battery and held on $3,000 bond.
* Ashley N. Kinney, 814 Neal St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to permitting an unauthorized person to drive and fined $186.48.
* Jeffrey I. Waldron, 870 Pleasant Hill Church Road, Belleville, pleaded guilty to a seatbelt violation and fined $25.
* Kelsey E. Goots, 2041 Spider Ridge Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $186.48. He was ordered to pay a $314 civil penalty to Walmart.
* Tyler M. Jackson, 395 Southern Highway, Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to having an inactive USDOT number and fined $226.48. A charge of having expired registration plates was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

PARKERSBURG — Wood County Magistrate Court released the following reports Aug. 11:
* Shaun William Crites, no address listed, was arraigned on a fugitive from justice warrant and bond was to be set in Wood County Circuit Court.
* Michael Paul Smith, 611 32nd St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, with intent, and bond was set at $75,000.
* Joshua Vernon Knight, 828 Cedar Grove Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of receiving/transferring a stolen vehicle, and bond was set at $15,000.
* Natasha Katherine Dunn, 2906 29th St., Apt. 8, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of possession with intent to deliver and a capias warrant for possession with intent. Bond was set at $115,000.
* Casey Charles Lehew, 818 32nd St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of second-offense shoplifting and two counts of possession of a controlled substance. Bond was set at $4,000.
* Tiffany Kenzie Dawn Boso, 1005 State Route 555, Little Hocking, was arraigned second-offense driving under suspension and no proof of insurance and released on $1,000 bond.
* Virginia Rose Morrison, 4108 13th Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of public intoxication and battery on a government representative and released on $5,000 bond.
* Ryan Scott Watson, 608 Elder St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of violating a protective order and released on $1,000 bond.
* Caitlyn Marie Roberts, 2315 Morningside Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a violation of a protective order charge and released on $2,000 bond.
* Joshua Dwayne Owens, Waverly, was arraigned on charges of domestic battery and unlawful restraint and released on $3,000 bond.
* Jarrod K. O’Neal, 272 Ridgeway Drive, Apt. D, Marietta, was arraigned on charges of shoplifting, trespassing in a structure or conveyance and obstructing through false statement and released on $2,000 bond.
* Bryan Ray Bassett, 296 N. State Route 2, Lot 16W, New Martinsville, was arraigned on a fleeing on foot charge. Bond was set at $1,000.
* David James Alltop, 716 Bird St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a violation of a protective order charge and released on $1,000 bond.
* John J. Matthews, 2515 Broadway Ext., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of shoplifting and fleeing and released on $2,000 bond.
* Annette Nicole Howe, Calhoun, Ga., was arraigned on a domestic battery charge and released on $3,000 bond.
* Susan V. Vance, 19 Holly Lane, Bridgeton, N.J., pleaded guilty to speeding and assessed $181.48.
* Carl Edwin Bartlett Jr., 1013 27th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to seat belt violation and assessed $25.
* Lisa Ann Doyle-Parsons, 1026 Laird Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to seat belt violation and assessed $25.
* Jason Antonio Kidd, 409 Fourth St., Apt. 7, Marietta, pleaded guilty to driving under suspension and red light violation and assessed $457.96.
* Thomas E. Donahue, 2517 Valley View Drive, Belpre, had a charge of intimidating a public official dismissed without prejudice.
* Kurt Anthony Tempel, Parkersburg, had a domestic battery charge dismissed without prejudice as the alleged victim did not wish to pursue.
* Antionette Lashelle Jones, 1768 Grace Road, Akron, had a preliminary hearing waived on a fraudulent schemes charge. The case was transferred to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Jon Edward Smith, 804 Fourth Ave., Parkersburg, had a battery charge dismissed.
* Lindsay Dawn Jones, 183 Berry Patch Lane, Washington, W.Va., had a conspiracy against the state charge dismissed.
