PARKERSBURG — Wood County Magistrate Court released the following reports Aug. 6:
* James Patrick Owens, 130 Meadows Mobile Home Park, Parkersburg, had a charge of violating a protective order dismissed since he was to be indicted on a felony strangulation charge.
* Mark Christopher Brown, homeless, had a charge of receiving or transferring stolen goods dismissed after being indicted on the same charge.
* Brittany Jo Ferrell, 618 Reed St., Apt. 6, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of violation of a protective order and released on $500 bond.
* Taylor Paige Farnsworth, 157 Rusty Run Road, Walker, was arraigned on charges of driving under the influence greater than 0.15 and open container and released on $4,000 bond.
* Terry Allen Pierce, 2023 Elm St., Apt. 4, Belpre, was arraigned on a charge of prohibited person possessing a firearm and released on $2,000 bond.
* Leroy James Estep, 4053 Elizabeth Pike, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on a charge of no insurance and released on $500 bond.
* Chey-Ann Nicole Selmon, 716 Orchard Drive, Ravenswood, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on $500 bond.
* Michael James Goodwin Jr., 160 Ash Circle, Davisville, pleaded guilty to driving under suspension and assessed $276.48.
* Matthew Allen Horner, 7282 SE Mulberry Drive, Hobe Sound, Fla., pleaded guilty to speeding and assessed $186.48.
* Breanna Nicole Scarbrough, 555 Ross Road, Little Hocking, pleaded guilty to speeding and assessed $186.48. A charge of no insurance was dismissed under a plea agreement.
* Melissa Jean Beagle, 1045 Sandhill Road, Lot 14, Marietta, pleaded guilty to driving under suspension and assessed $276.48.

PARKERSBURG — Wood County Magistrate Court released the following reports Aug. 7:
* Curtis Franklin Rea, 1573 Williamstown Pike, Waverly, pleaded guilty to violation of a protective order and was sentenced to 30 days in jail, suspended for one year of home confinement. He was assessed $426.48. Another count of violation of a protective order was dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
* Jared Vandertoorn, 2315 Mount Vernon Circle, Parkersburg, waived a preliminary hearing on a charge of escape or attempted escape, and the case was transferred to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Melissa Lynn Jones, 4967 Barella Drive, Antioch, Tenn., pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and was assessed $276.48. A charge of possession of a controlled substance was dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
* Jonathan Mark Thomas, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to violation of a protective order and was sentenced to 30 days in jail, with credit for 30 days served. He was assessed $426.48.
* Rebecca Jane Wilson, 1012 18th St., Parkersburg, waived a preliminary hearing on a charge of child abuse causing bodily injury by parent, guardian, custodian or person in position of trust. The case was bound over to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Robert Joseph Brown, 1003 Tefft St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to petit larceny, was sentenced to one year in jail and was assessed $176.48.
* A charge of domestic battery was dismissed against Bradley Lee Dawson, St. Marys, after successful completion of a deferred sentence diversion agreement. A possession of a controlled substance charge was also dismissed.
* A violation of a protective order charge was dismissed without prejudice against Kenneth Ray Sasser Jr., 208 Mineral Manor Way, Parkersburg.
* A charge of possession of a controlled substance was dismissed against Jarrett Mark Adams, 3214 Little Creek Road, LeRoy.
* Two counts of domestic battery were dismissed without prejudice against John Julius Smith, Parkersburg.
* A charge of domestic battery was dismissed without prejudice against Mizael Gutierrez Rodriguez, Parkersburg.
* Joran Mishka Biscombe, 5524 Auburn Road, Berea, W.Va., pleaded guilty to trespassing and was assessed $201.48. A charge of second-offense shoplifting was dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
* Detner Roush IV, 1002 E. 12th St., Parkersburg, pleaded no contest to obstructing an officer with threats of harm and was assessed $286.48.
* A charge of petit larceny was dismissed against Chavazze Levi Kidder, 653 Johnson Road, Marietta.
* A charge of intimidating/obscene phone calls was dismissed against Reggie Drew Woodrum, 456 Clell Woodrum Lane, Ridgeview, W.Va., following successful completion of a deferred sentence agreement. A charge of tracking deer with dogs off lead was also dismissed.
* Larry Dean Wallace Jr., 1804 Covert St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to reckless driving and drag racing. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail, suspended for six months unsupervised probation and assessed $412.96. A charge of speeding, 99 mph in a 55 mph zone, was dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
* Hunter David Hall, 1200 55th St., Vienna, pleaded guilty to failure to yield to an emergency vehicle while it was displaying flashing lights and was assessed $226.48.
* Dana Lee Kelley, 105 Virginia St., Ravenswood, was arraigned on charges of obstructing and disorderly conduct and released on $500 surety bond.
* Chase William Hutson, care of 714 32nd St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of obstructing and disorderly conduct and released on $500 surety bond.
* Randal P. Huffman, 2806 Ambler Ridge Road, Walton, was arraigned on charges of no valid fuel decal and gross weight of vehicles and loads and released on $1,000 personal recognizance bond.
* Zachary Dustin Biles, 1276 Stillwell Road, Walker, pleaded guilty to speeding and was assessed $186.48. A charge of no proof of insurance was dismissed.
* Jonathon Michael Loncala, 1332 25th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended/revoked license and was assessed $276.48. A charge of operation without certificate of inspection or failure to produce certificate was dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
* Karlee N. Fall, 122 W. Hall St., Kent, Ohio, pleaded guilty to speeding 10 mph or less in excess on highway and was assessed $186.48.
