PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on May 21:
* Brendon Michael Post, 2765 Meadville Road, Davisville, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $181.48. A charge of having no insurance was dismissed after proof was presented.
* Angela Marie Moore, 584 Goddard Road, Cutler, pleaded guilty to a traffic control signal violation and fined $186.48. A charge of having an expired driver’s license was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Geneva Jean Brady, 2020 Middle Ridge Road, Waverly, pleaded guilty to having no seat belt and fined $25.
* Dustin Ray Kinney, 4363 Oak Grove Road, Walker, pleaded guilty to destruction of property, fined $186.48 and sentenced to six months in jail, which was suspended for one year of unsupervised probation. He is required to undergo counseling.
* William Travis Easton, 6001½ Emerson Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense driving on a suspended license, having no insurance and fined $752.96.
* Justin Tyler Simon, 117A Grapevine Drive, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to petit larceny, fined $276.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail, suspended for six months of unsupervised probation.
* Madison Irene Bouchard, 3003 Little Kanawha Parkway, Elizabeth, pleaded guilty to shoplifting, fined $181.48 and ordered to pay a $209.72 civil penalty to Walmart in Parkersburg.
* Blair Elizabeth Swindells, 1124 East Poplar St., Davisville, pleaded guilty to obstruction and fined $276.48.
* Jorden L Pearson, 1 Pomeroy Road, Athens, was arraigned on a charge of obstructing (DNR) and released on $500 bond.
* Almalleli Cruz McManus, 5 Willowbrooke Drive, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of illegally passing a school bus and having no proof of insurance and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.
* Wyatt Lucas Gainer, 3807 Sassafras Ridge Road, Arnoldsburg, was arraigned on a charge of DUI greater than 0.15 and released on a $1,000 surety bond.
* Robert Michael Kellison, 47 Hickory St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of violating a safety order and released on $1,000 surety bond.
* Chalene Kristin Simon, 20 Woodland Drive, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of having no proof of insurance and possession of a controlled substance (two counts) and released on $2,500 personal recognizance bond
* Timothy Wayne Hupp Jr., 906 Hawthorne St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of shoplifting and released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond.
* Corey Frank Bonar, 447 Ranis Road, Belleville, was arraigned on a charge of petit larceny and held on a $10,000 surety bond.
* Philip Joseph Humphries, 1340 Lynn St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of petit larceny and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.
* Jonathan Adam Mercer, 115 Red Hill Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of speeding and truancy and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.
* Nathaniel Ray Owens, 914 Laverne St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of being a person prohibited from possessing a firearm and released on $2,000 surety bond.

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on May 22:
* Christopher Yiannis Tsirkas, 706 Laurel Drive, West Hempstead, N.Y., pleaded guilty to speeding (101 mph in a 70 mph zone) and fined $206.48. A charge of having no proof of insurance was dismissed.
* Desmen Ray Kenlock, 1 Camelot Road, Apt. 3, Parkersburg, pleaded no contest to driving on a suspended license and was fined $276.48.
* James Dale Biery Jr., 410 Columbia Ave., Williamstown, pleaded no contest to a seat belt violation and was fined $25.
* Hazellen Marie Clark, 1112 Circle Drive, Martinsburg, pleaded guilty to public intoxication and fined $181.48.
* Jessica Kay Miller, 56 Ash Circle, Davisville, pleaded no contest to having expired registration and fined $181.48. A charge of having no operator’s license was dismissed after presenting proof of having one.
* Cynthia Kay Myers, 1625 Latrobe St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to failure to obey a traffic control device and third-offense driving on a suspended license, fined $512.96 and sentenced to 30 days in jail. A charge of failure to maintain motor vehicle insurance was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Tiffany Nicole Snyder, 1129 Little Kanawha River Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting and fined $176.48. She was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to the Sheetz store on Seventh Street in Parkersburg.
* Phillip Michael Parsons, 1560 County Road 31, Chesapeake, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of third-offense shoplifting. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Patrick Aaron Page, 4217 Jefferson St, Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of soliciting a minor via computer. The case was sent to Circuit Court.
* Kaycie D. Britton, 4214 Jefferson St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of violation of a safety order and released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond.
* Randall A. Horner II, 1000 Tefft St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of wanton endangerment and released on $25,000 surety bond.
* Gabrielle M. Bradshaw, 1702 Avery St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of having expired MVI, no seat belt and having expired registration and released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond.
* Garon Brooks Lowry, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of second-offense violation of a protective order and held on $1,000 cash bond.
* Paul William Cochran, 113 Pickering St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of obstructing an officer and released on $1,000 bond.
* Kylie Jean Wynn, 601 55th St., Vienna, was arraigned on charges of DUI and driving on a license suspended for DUI and released on $1,000 surety bond.
