Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on April 2:

* Heather Dawn Lucas, 907 Pike St. Lot A, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of driving on a suspended license and having no insurance and was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Brian Travis Parsons, 2828 Evansview Road, Evans, W.Va., was arraigned on charges of speeding in a construction zone and cell phone violation and was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Raymond Anthony Denuzzo, 92 Camden Hill Heights, Sutton, W.Va., was arraigned on charges of driving while impaired, leaving the scene of an accident and possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription and held on $1,500 surety bond.

* Samantha Danielle Deem, 943 Swann St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of trespassing and released on $1,000 surety bond.

* Cassandra Lynne Savely, New Plymouth, Ohio, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on a $3,000 surety bond.

* John Alan Sattler II, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to charges of petit larceny and domestic battery and fined $486.48. Another charge of petit larceny was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* James Michael Johnson, 809 24th St., Vienna, had probable cause found for a charge of strangulation. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Adam Charles Hogue, 195 McGill Road, Vincent, had a charge of violation of a protective order dismissed after the alleged victim did not appear in court.

* Robert Eugene Barker, 1050 Laird Ave., Parkersburg, had charges of having no insurance and third-offense driving on a suspended license dismissed after proof was presented to the court.

* Brandon Michael Zirkle, 1252 Gihon Road, Parkersburg, had charges of second-offense shoplifting and possession of a controlled substance dismissed after the state failed to transport in a timely manner.

* Cody Dale Smarr, 311 Prince St., Beckley, pleaded guilty to DUI, having no operator’s license and improper registration, fined $714.44 and sentenced to one day in jail which was ruled as time served. Charges of having no insurance and operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate were dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Vanessa Lynn Allen, Parkersburg, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed as the alleged victim does not want to pursue the case.

* Pattie Jane Stillwagon, 41 Captain Ames Drive, Parkersburg, had charges of having no proof of insurance and no operator’s license dismissed after proof was presented to the court.

* Angelica Aurora Belfiore, 2987 Dutch Ridge Road Apt 20, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to two counts of child neglect, fined $352.96 and sentenced to six months in jail which was suspended and she was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.

* Brianna Brooke Gibson, 60 Waverly Acres Circle, Waverly, pleaded guilty to speeding (68 mph in a 45 mph zone) and fined $191.48.

* Mendy Dawn Kemp, 1868 Lee Creek Road, Belleville, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $181.48.

* Paige Elizabeth Moran, 3004 10th Ave., Vienna, pleaded guilty to having no seat belt and fined $25. A charge of operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate was dismissed.

* Cynthia Sue Quinn, 1198 Joshua Fork Road, Rockport, pleaded guilty to having expired registration and fined $181.48.

* Lu Ann Roberts, 214 Court St., Elizabeth, pleaded no contest to speeding in a construction zone and fined $181.48.
