PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Feb. 26:
* Brea Lary Lego, 1208 15th St., Parkersburg, had a charge of having no insurance dismissed after providing proof to the court.
* Frank Carrol Lawrence, 1131 Lynn St. Apt. #2 Upstairs, Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of burglary. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Alisha Blakley, 608 Elm St., Belpre, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 60 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. She was ordered to pay a $128.32 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Vienna.
* Ashton Isiah Elschlager, Walker, pleaded guilty to domestic battery, fined $176.48 and sentenced to one year in jail which was suspended and he was placed on two years of unsupervised probation. He had a charge of strangulation dismissed, per a plea agreement
* Alexis Jean Allberry, 4363 Oak Grove Road, Walker, pleaded guilty to having no insurance and possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $352.96 and sentenced to 90 days in jail. Charges of no having a valid driver’s license, failure to report an accident and driving without a valid driver’s license were dismissed, per a plea agreement. Allberry also pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident with vehicle damage, driving too fast for road conditions and having no insurance, fined $749.44 and sentenced to 60 days in jail.
* Amanda J. Lowe, 453 Eyermana Road, Belpre, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $186.48.
* Timothy Michael Taylor, 455 Deerwalk Hwy., Waverly, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $206.48.
* Jessica Faye Wells, 1038 Wells Hollow Road, Sandyville, pleaded guilty to speeding (93 mph in a 70 mph zone) and following too closely and fined $377.96.
* Andrey Semenov, 2031 E 68th St., Brooklyn. N.Y., pleaded no contest to speeding in a construction zone (63 mph in a 55 mph zone) and fined $201.48.
* Crystal Marie Groves, 1608 Avery St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to providing/selling beer to someone under 21 and fined $201.48.
* Denver Ray Hoover, 1629 Dewey St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $201.48. He was ordered to pay a $62.64 civil penalty to Walmart.
* Daniel L. Norris, 93 Backes Road, Cutler, pleaded guilty to speeding in a work zone and fined $226.48.
* Brandon Marshall Jenkins, 800 Roth Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of obstructing and released on $1,000 bond.
* Brandon James Kerns, 810 23rd St., Vienna, was arraigned on three counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (meth, fentanyl, marijuana) and held on $300,000 bond.
* Samantha Astiton Wilkinson, 1617 Andrew St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of going left of center and cell phone usage and released on $500 bond.
* Tara Ann Shearer, 13627 Emerson Ave., Williamstown, was arraigned on a charge of shoplifting and released on $500 bond.
* Micah Deon Carr, 939 Braun Ave., Belpre, was arraigned on a charge of destruction of property and released on $500 bond.
* Ashley Lynne McCune, 71s Lily Lane, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of reckless driving and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and released on $1,000 bond.
* Dennis Lanier II, 1029 Frederick St., Ypsilanti, Mich., was arraigned on two counts of possession of a controlled substance (marijuana and cocaine) and speeding and released on $4,000 bond.
* Brian Michael Sams, 300 Milton St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of obstruction and released on $500 bond.
* Brian Andrew Nichols, Parkersburg, had charges of domestic battery (three counts) and domestic violence bond violation dismissed after the alleged victim did not appear in court.
* Alishya Danelle Dennis, Parkersburg, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed
* Paul Christopher Johnson, 3415 Elm St., Parkersburg, had a charge of second-offense driving on a revoked license dismissed. Johnson is in federal custody and the state does not wish to prosecute.
* Loretta Jean Crites, C/O 611 Lulu St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $186.48 and sentenced to 10 months in jail which was ruled as time served. She had another charge of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Tyler James Francis, 1026 Ball School Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fined $286.48. A charge of having no insurance was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Gary Lee Losey II, 802 7th St. Apt. 6, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting and fined $276.48. He was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to the Sheetz store on Seventh Street in Parkersburg.

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Feb. 27:
* Rodney Lyle Conley, 2113 Indiana St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to DUI with a BAC of .15 or more, fined $511.48 and sentenced to 30 days of home confinement.
* John Francis Buksar, 28 Sunset Ridge Road, Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription and driving on a revoked license for DUI, fined $452.96 and sentenced to six months of unsupervised probation and 30 days home confinement.
* Luka B. Yakim, 1061 North Oak Grove Road, Williamstown, pleaded guilty to obstruction with threats of harm and impersonating a law enforcement officer, fined $462.96 and sentenced to 180 days in jail. A charge of disorderly conduct was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Samantha Ashton Wilkinson, 1722 Forest Hills Drive, Vienna, had a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription dismissed after a successful deferred sentence program. A charge of failure to properly restrain a child while a vehicle was in motion was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Desarah Lynn Marberry, Marietta, pleaded guilty to obstruction with threats of harm and falsely reporting an emergency, fined $362.96 and sentenced to 30 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. She had charges of disorderly conduct and domestic battery dismissed, per a plea agreement
* Heather Dawn Lucas, 907 Pike St. Apt. A, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting, and fined $276.48. She was ordered to pay a $1,251.76 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Vienna.
* Michelle Carol Bennett, 276 Central St., New Martinsville, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription and maintaining a dwelling for the use of controlled substances, fined $362.96 and sentenced to six months in jail which was suspended and she was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.
* Samantha Ann Adams, C/O 1004 Pike St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting and fined $286.48. She was ordered to pay a $539.28 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Vienna.
* Camron Michael Gains, 403 Division St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to DUI in an impaired state with less than .15 BAC, fined $361.48 and sentenced to 10 hours in jail which was ruled as time served.
* Garrick Lee Hart, 213 Sheldon Ave., Marietta, pleaded guilty to having an open alcohol container in a vehicle and fined $432.96. He also had a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription dismissed following a successful deferred sentence agreement.
* Christie Rhodes Crain, 13 Jones St., Mineral Wells, had charges of simple assault and destruction of property and battery dismissed without prejudice as the alleged victim did not appear in court.
* Donald Ray Waller Jr., 4133 Morgantown Road, Smithfield, Pa., pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $181.48.
* Rebekah Rae Baker, 650 13th St. Apt. 4, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to trespassing and fined $181.48.
* Michael Stephen Baugh, 1103 18th St., Apt. A2, Vienna, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of third-offense shoplifting, The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Jacob Gordon Linville, 66 Hillview St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of child abuse by a parent or guardian or person in a position of trust causing bodily injury. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Christopher James Elza, 1915 Lake Washington Road, Washington, W.Va., pleaded guilty to DUI with a BAC of .15 or more, fined $481.48 and sentenced to 30 days home confinement.
* Emma Mayanna Wallbrown, 612 Lubeck Ave., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on charges of escape/attempted escape and grand larceny. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Dakota Jack Leisure, 1209 Grandview St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of malicious assault and released on $50,000 bond.
* Shasta Danyelle Farnese, 27335 State Route 7 Lot 8, Marietta, was arraigned on a charge of shoplifting and released on $1,000 bond.
* Josie Rener Harter, 2100 Hill St. Apt. 1, Belpre, was arraigned on a charge of shoplifting, less than $500, and released on $250 bond.
* William Travis Easton, 6001 1/2 Emerson Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of having no insurance and second-offense driving on a suspended license and released on $1,000 bond.
* Bradley Matthew Gill, 467 McDonald Road, Waterford, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license, no insurance and having no motorcycle helmet and fined $879.44
* Melissa Dawn Whitten, 3850 Central Ave. Apt. 21, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to having no operators license and failure to yield and fined $356.96.
