PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on April 10:
* Randy Gene Smith, 728 Hill St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to failure to stop at a stop sign and fined $181.48.
* John S. Buskirk, 2612 Division St. Ext., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to electronically distracted driving and fined $100.
* William M. Fisher Jr., 72 Franklin Drive, Little Hocking, pleaded no contest to passing in a no passing zone and fined $181.48.
* James Alan Miller, 438 Northwood Villa, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $196.48.
* Chester Harold Miller III, 2501½ Broad St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident and failure to report a crash/hit and run and fined $422.96.
* Wayne Alexander Hughes, 1002 23rd St. Apt. 10, Vienna, pleaded guilty to DUI, fined $461.48 and placed on 30 days of home confinement.
* David Ryan Westfall, 47 Boggess St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense driving on a suspended license and fined $676.48. A charge of having no seatbelt was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Kaitlyn Dawn Townsend, 3615 Cypress St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription and fined $201.48.
* Jackwaynette Mistyque Blake, 110 Powell Dr. Apt. 46, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to DUI, fined $361.48 and sentenced to 24 hours in jail.
* Nicholas Charles McCoy, 816 Lily Lane, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to trespassing in a condemned structure and fined $186.48.
* Mary Catherine Hughes, 1002 23rd St. Apt. 10, Vienna, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license for DUI and fined $276.48.
* Joshua Allen Chipps, 802½ Camden Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to fleeing from an officer, fined $186.48 and sentenced to six months in jail which was suspended and was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. Charges of reckless driving and third-offense driving on a suspended license were dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Gregory Stephen King, 62385 Zion Road, Shade, Ohio, pleaded guilty to accidents involving damage to a vehicle, fined $451.48 and sentenced to 10 days in jail which was suspended and was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. Charges of driving on a suspended license, driving without the proper security and improper turning left at an intersection by a vehicle were dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Deborah Lynn Martin, 1252 Gihon Rd., Parkersburg, had a charge of illegal disposal of sewage dismissed without prejudice for further investigation.
* Joshua Allan Chipps, 802½ Camden Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense driving on a suspended license and fined $286.48.
* Kyle Andrew Bishop, 2411 Morningside Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to obstructing and fined $226.48.
* Richard Erik Miller, 812 Grafton St. Apt. 814, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving on a revoked license for DUI, fined $276.48 and was placed on 30 days of home confinement and fined $276.48. Charges of driving on a suspended license, having defective equipment and going left of center were dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Carl Clayton Robinson, 621 33rd St., Parkersburg, had a charge of malicious or unlawful assault dismissed as he was indicted on the charge in Wood County Circuit Court.
* Krystal Lashae Cook, 119 Willowbrook Dr. Apt. 2, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.
* Michael Ray Atkinson, 24761 Brimstone Rd., Coolville, had probable cause found for a charge of first-degree robbery with threat of deadly force with a weapon. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court. Charges of bringing in or disposing of stolen property, burglary, grand larceny and destruction of property ($2,500 or more) was dismissed.
* Dale Robert Wiggins Jr., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to hunting without a license and fined $196.48. He had charges of domestic violence, violation of a protective order and another two charges of hunting without a license dismissed, per a plea agreement. He also pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance, obstruction (relating to boating),fined $372.96 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.
* Nicholas Trevor Caplinger, 1905 Covert St. Apt. B, Parkersburg, had a charge of driving on a revoked license for DUI dismissed after meeting the terms of a deferred sentence.
* Vincent Gregory Baisi, Parkersburg, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed without prejudice.
* Matthew David Sandy, 1119 Lynn St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of third-offense shoplifting and held on $5,000 bond.
* Katie Lynn Munoz, 1015 18th St. Apt. 4C, Vienna, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance and held on $50,000 bond.
* Falecia Dawn Paulk, 4104 16th Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of burglary and held on $15,000 bond.
* Thomas Bryan Moore, 1111 Lynn St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of burglary and possession of a controlled substance (capias) and held on $100,000 bond for the burglary charge and no bond for the capias warrant.
* Stacy Dawn Eddleblute, 3106 Fourth Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of third-offense shoplifting and felony escape and held on $100,000 bond.
* Tray Eugene Lightfritz, 955 Mitchell Lane, Marietta, was arraigned on charges of littering from a vehicle, failure to yield, having no proof of insurance and having no seatbelt and released on $500 bond.
* William Thomas Polk, 1408 30th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of second-offense DUI and failure to render fingerprints and released on $2,500 bond.
* Fred Eugene McDaniel, 110 Henrietta St., Ravenswood, was arraigned on charges of second-offense driving while impaired and driving on a revoked license for DUI and released on $1,000 bond.
