Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Feb. 22:
* David Lee Golden Jr., 604 Anna Jarvis Dr., Grafton, pleaded guilty to violation of a protective order, fined $436.48 and sentenced to two days in jail which was ruled as time served. He had one count of violation of a protective order and three counts of violation of a domestic violence protection order dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Charles Patrick King, 2630 Vaughan Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense driving on a revoked license for DUI, fined $1,176.48 and placed on six months of home confinement. He also pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting and fined $276.48. He was ordered to pay a $882.82 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Parkersburg. Another charge of second-offense shoplifting was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Oric Chan Noyes, 9045 Noyes Road, Beverly, had charges of having no insurance and driving on a suspended license dismissed.
* Grant Stephen Dawson, 5009 Turkey Fork Road, Sandyville, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance, fined $186.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.
* Shawn Michael Casto, 4012 Fourth Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $196.48. He was ordered to pay a $155.92 civil penalty to the Tractor Supply store in Parkersburg.
* Eugene David Harker Jr., 700 Barclay St. Lot 10, Belpre, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $376.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. He had four counts of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Dexter Eugene Marks Jr., 15 Westview Circle, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $186.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. A charge of obstruction with threats of harm was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Tabitha Starr Haught, 321 Owens Ct. Dr., Palestine, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $176.48 and was sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. A charge of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Angelo Nelson Stadtler, 1005 Hawthorn St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to petit larceny, fined $211.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail and placed on one year of unsupervised probation.
* Andrew Gavin Warwick, 589 Old River Road, Williamstown, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of DUI causing serious injury. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Natasha Katherine Dunn, no address given, was arraigned on a charge of being a fugitive from justice out of Washington County on a charge of DUI and held on no bond.
* Waylon Colt Slusher, 5095 Castlewood Way, Hamilton, Ohio, was arraigned on two counts of possession of a controlled substance and held on $2,000 bond.
* Bobby James Asbury, 613 Leafy Glen Court, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of counterfeiting and forging/uttering and held on $20,000 bond.
* Kayonna Marie Swinford, 808 West Virginia Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of having no insurance and released on $1,000 bond.
* Robert Owen Griffith, 857 Harris Highway Apt. 202, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of aggravated DUI and released on $2,000 bond.
* Kaila Violetta Wright, 920 Upland Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of shoplifting and released on $500 bond.
* Kenny Dwain Westfall, 539 Man of War Road, Walker, was arraigned on charges of speeding and failure to update address on license and released on $500 bond.
* Holly Rene Thorn, 831 Grassy Run Rd., Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to fleeing from law enforcement and DUI with a BAC of .15 or more, fined $647.96 and sentenced to one year in jail which was suspended and she was placed on two years of unsupervised probation. A charge of fleeing while under the influence was dismissed.
* Albert Eugene Adkins, 28 Electric Ave., Belleville, had a preliminary hearing waived on four counts of attempt to commit a felony punishable with life imprisonment and two counts of wanton endangerment involving a firearm. The case was transferred to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Levi Gregg, 3005 Ross Mayle Lane, Chesterfhill, Ohio, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of soliciting a minor via computer. The case was transferred to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Samantha Jo Hornbeck, 2613½ Ninth Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $186.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.
* Rebekah Rae Baker, 650 13th St., Apt. 4, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to obstructing law enforcement with threats of harm, fined $176.48 and sentenced to four days in jail. A charge of trespassing was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Tabitha Starr Haught, 321 Owens Ct. Dr., Palestine, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $196.48. She was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to Walmart on Pike Street.
* Hannah R. Pfeffer, 14925 Spring Court, Caldwell, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $186.48.
* Todd Allen Graham, 4809 Second Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $181.48. He had a charge of having no proof of insurance dismissed after proof was provided to the court.
* Steven Charles Tichy, 190 Greenbriar Lane, Davisville, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $181.48.
* Hunter Scott Douglas, 11 Glenna St., Newport, pleaded no contest to prohibited use of minnows and fined $196.48.
* Sonya Ann Reutelshofer, 2717 25th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48.
* Clayton Archibald Bain, 111 Grapevine Dr., Vienna, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $181.48.
* Matthew Adam Twigg, 174 Jamie St. Fort Ashby, pleaded no contest to speeding and fined $181.48. Charges of operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate and having no proof of insurance were dismissed after providing the documents to the court.
* Steven Edward Parsons, 910 30th St. Apt. 6, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense DUI, fined $176.48 and sentenced to one year of home confinement. He had a felony charge of DUI dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
