Stockport man dies in crash
LOWELL — A Stockport, Ohio, man was killed Wednesday evening in a two-vehicle crash on Ohio 60 south of Lowell, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred about 5:09 p.m. in Adams Township, according to the patrol.
Michael Montgomery, 46, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle, Jordin Brannan, 22, of Marietta, was transported by Med-Flight to OSU Medical Campus in critical condition. A media representative for the hospital said they had no information they could provide on Brannan Thursday afternoon.
A release from the patrol says that preliminary reports indicate Brannan traveled left of center in a 2001 Oldsmobile Silhouette and struck Montgomery, who was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Uplander, head-on. There were no passengers in either vehicle.
The crash remains under investigation.
