PARKERSBURG — Confirmed COVID patients also have been trending downward at WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center. The hospital on Friday reported 27 patients were in the hospital, of which 12 were vaccinated. Three people were in the intensive care unit, none of those are fully vaccinated. Reconciled data adds 35 COVID deaths for West Virginia

CHARLESTON — Forty-six deaths were added to the COVID-19 toll in West Virginia Thursday, most of them from the last few months, as active case numbers continued to decline. Eleven deaths were attributed to the virus in a release Thursday from the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources, ranging from a 39-year-old Greenbrier County man to a 97-year-old man from Kanawha County. CHARLESTON — Another four residents from Wood County have died from the COVID-19 coronavirus, the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources reported Wednesday morning. The state confirmed the deaths of an 86-year-old woman, a 65-year-old man, a 92-year-old woman and a 60-year-old man, the last victim found in the data reconciliation by the Bureau of Public Health with death certificates. Staff Report CHARLESTON — A 33-year-old man from Wood County has died from the COVID-19 coronavirus, the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources reported on Tuesday. Twenty-two more deaths from the virus were reported between Monday and Tuesday mornings, raising the death count to 6,339 since the pandemic started more than two years ago.
