Camden Clark Medical Center details decrease in COVID patients

PARKERSBURG -- Confirmed COVID patients also have been trending downward at WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center.

The hospital on Friday reported 27 patients were in the hospital, of which 12 were vaccinated.

Three people were in the intensive care unit, none of those are fully vaccinated. Three patients are on a ventilator, all unvaccinated.

The census for the week is:

* On Thursday, 28 patients were in the hospital, 13 fully vaccinated. Three patients were in intensive care, all unvaccinated. Three patients were on a ventilator who are unvaccinated.

* On Wednesday, 30 patients are in the hospital with 13 of those fully vaccinated. Three patients were in ICU, all unvaccinated. Three unvaccinated patients were on a ventilator.

* Tuesday's census included 31 patients, nine who were vaccinated. Four patients were listed in the ICU, all unvaccinated while three unvaccinated patients were on a ventilator.

* Thirty-one cases were also reported on Monday, 14 of those vaccinated. Four patients were in ICU, all unvaccinated. Three unvaccinated patients were on a ventilator.

Nobody fully vaccinated was on a ventilator in the past five days.
