CHARLESTON — Statewide active COVID-19 cases were at 2,501 Monday, the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources. The department also reported it has received 2,131 new cases of the virus since the Friday update. Taking into account recovered cases, the increase in active cases since the Friday report was 205. Active COVID cases still rising in West Virginia

CHARLESTON — Active COVID-19 cases again increased by more than 200 statewide between Thursday and Friday, the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources said. The state reported 2,296 active cases Friday, up 217 from 2,079 on Thursday, the state said. The state Friday also reported 713 new cases of the virus were received since the last update on Thursday. Active COVID cases rise by 284 in West Virginia

CHARLESTON — Active cases are again over 2,000 in West Virginia where a state agency reported Thursday a spike of almost 300 since Wednesday. The Department of Health and Human Resources Thursday reported 2,079 active COVID-19 cases statewide, an increase of 284 from the 1,795 cases reported on Wednesday. CHARLESTON — COVID-19 cases again slightly dropped in the 24-hour period between Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources said on Wednesday. Active COVID-19 cases slightly drop in West Virginia

Staff Report CHARLESTON — Active cases of the COVID-19 virus dropped over 130 between Monday and Tuesday, according to the Tuesday pandemic update by the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources. Active COVID cases continue rise in West Virginia

CHARLESTON — Active COVID-19 cases are skirting the edge of 2,000 in West Virginia, according to Monday’s update from the state Department of Health and Human Resources.
