PARKERSBURG – The Parkersburg Engagement Project is offering a songwriting workshop and the start of a series of bicycle outings this weekend. Athens musician Megan Bee will lead an interactive workshop on songwriting from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Children’s Home Society, 2500 36th St., Parkersburg. Free concert at library on Emerson Avenue

PARKERSBURG – The Parkersburg & Wood County Public Library on Emerson Avenue will feature a free concert at 6 p.m. Thursday with Michigan singer/songwriter Mike Ward and songstress and musician Joy Zimmerman of the greater Kansas City region. Both artists are folk and Americana performers.

Delays on Hebron Road in Pleasants County
