Marietta Duck Derby to support disability advocacy

MARIETTA — Disability Rights Ohio’s annual Duck Derby will return to the Muskingum River for a sixth consecutive year Wednesday, Sept. 23, raising money for the nonprofit’s advocacy work for people with disabilities. Hundreds of plastic ducks will be released into the river about 5 p.m. The sponsors of the first three ducks to reach the finish line will receive cash prizes of $500 for first place, $250 for second and $125 for third.
