‘1776’ performance to change locations

The performance of "1776" presented by the Actors Guild of Parkersburg in partnership with Downtown PKB and America 250 will be changing locations today from Bicentennial Park to the Center on Market/Wood County Resiliency Center, 328 2nd St., Parkersburg. The change is due to expected high temperatures and extreme heat warnings by the National Weather Service. The performance is free to the public and no tickets are required to attend.

PARKERSBURG — Coplin Health Systems is expanding its Mobile Health Unit program with a new ongoing community stop at Parkersburg Fire Station No. 2. The stop will begin with a community celebration from 1 to 4 p.m. July 8. NEW MATAMORAS — The 63rd Matamoras High School Alumni Banquet was held June 13 at Matamoras Elementary School, according to a release from the Matamoras High School Alumni Association.
