PARKERSBURG — The West Virginia Division of Highways announced the following upcoming road closures:

* Viscose Road (Wood County 21/15), south of Parkersburg, will be closed, from milepost 0 to milepost 1, between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday for a paving project.

* White Pine Road (Jackson County 19/7) in Kenna will be closed, from milepost 0 to milepost 1.78, between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday for a culvert replacement. Flaggers will be present. The roadway will be closed but will accommodate emergency vehicles.

Motorists are asked to plan accordingly.

Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the work schedule.
