PARKERSBURG — The 2025 Parkersburg Homecoming Royalty was crowned at an April 26 pageant at West Virginia University at Parkersburg that included 17 contestants.
Emma Sloan, 17, of Walton, is the 2025 Parkersburg Homecoming Festival Queen.
A senior at Roane County High School, she serves as FBLA president and Student Council historian, and is a member of the National Honor Society. Sloan has been a dancer for 15 years with Shanna’s School of Dance, where she is also a teacher’s assistant. She works at her local radio station, WVRC 104.7.
During the festival, she is most excited for the dachshund race and the grand parade.
Caroline McCoy, a sixth-grader at Jackson Middle School, is the 2025 Parkersburg Homecoming Festival Preteen.
She is excited to have recently made both the varsity cheer team and the competitive cheer team at Jackson. McCoy is also a member of the Jackson Choir and has been active in student council for the past several years.
She enjoys playing volleyball, spending time with friends and playfully keeping her mom on her toes.
What McCoy is most looking forward to about Homecoming is the food, the fireworks and all the fun she will have with her sister queens at the festival.
Callee Fowler, entering her junior year at Point Pleasant High School, is the 2025 Parkersburg Homecoming Festival Teen Queen.
She is a member of both the varsity cheer and tennis teams, and participates in several after-school clubs including 4-H, YLA and choir.
What Fowler is most excited for about Homecoming is the opportunity to meet new people and create lasting memories.
