The starting line for the two-mile takes place in the same spot as the half marathon, but begins 10 minutes after the half. Along with the participants of the half, two-milers get to enjoy the National Anthem preformed by the Parkersburg High School marching band. As runners and walkers toe up to the start they are cheered by dozens of spectators who have come out to support the event.
