PARKERSBURG – The Wood County Commission approved giving $15,000 to help the Polymer Alliance Zone with an upcoming visit from a number of Japanese business officials looking at places to possibly build and locate businesses. RITCHIE COUNTY – There will be delays across Ritchie, Pleasants and Tyler counties from Sunday to Thursday as an oil and gas rig moves in, the West Virginia Division of Highways announced. Several large loads will be transferred intermittently between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., potentially delaying traffic due to the oversized trucks and equipment.
