PARKERSBURG - A Jackson County company has been recognized for one of the five coolest things made in the state by the West Virginia Manufacturers Association. Bora Bora Cafe reopened after flooding

PARKERSBURG – The Bora Bora Smoothie Cafe on Murdoch Avenue reopened Wednesday following flooding inside the business on Monday. Kassim Almerdaie, manager of Bora Bora Smoothie Cafe, said they had cleaned up and had their equipment checked and other inspections that allowed them to open on Wednesday. About 1.5 inches of rain fell from around midnight to 8 a.m. Monday in the area. A flood watch had been in effect until early Wednesday.
