PARKERSBURG — A transportation company has expanded into Parkersburg.
Aim Transportation Solutions, a provider of commercial fleet services, has moved into the city to support its dedicated fleet partnership with Wincore Window Co. of Parkersburg, a producer of windows and doors.
The expansion marks a milestone in the growing relationship between Aim and Wincore and for Aim as it continues to grow and serve customers at more than 100 locations and operations across the United States, the company said.
“Wincore has been an amazing, rock-solid partner for many years, and thanks to their trust in us and our ability to meet and exceed their expectations, we earned this opportunity to grow our footprint and expand into Parkersburg,” said Dave Gurska, chief operating officer of Aim Integrated Logistics. “This is a perfect example of how growth and success begin and end with great, reliable customer service.”
Wincore depends on Aim to provide trucks, drivers and around-the-clock operational and logistical support, Gurska said. While in different industries, Aim and Wincore share a customer-first approach to business, he said.
“Their logistics expertise has proven to be very beneficial to Wincore,” said Brian Standley, president of the company.
Wincore and Aim formed the strategic partnership about three-and-a-half years ago, Standley said. Aim handles about 70% of Wincore’s transportation needs, he said.
“Expanding Wincore’s dedicated fleet of trucks and drivers and opening an Aim facility in what’s essentially Wincore’s backyard demonstrates our stop-at-nothing approach to fully supporting our customers,” Gurska said. “Along with allowing us to deliver the level of exceptional service Wincore demands in this region, this new location opens up more opportunities for us to grow our presence as a complete commercial transportation solutions provider, offering full-service leasing, rentals, maintenance and more to local businesses.”
The new facility at 403 Buckeye St. off U.S. 50 is about five minutes west of Interstate 77.
The shop features two pull-through bays that can fit up to eight straight trucks or two full-length tractor-trailers and two straight trucks. The site is staffed with diesel technicians equipped with the latest tools and diagnostic equipment, the company said.
Shop hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
“Aim is where the resources, technology and capabilities of a large corporation are delivered with the one-on-one, customer-first approach expected from a family-owned and operated company, and we’re looking forward to growing our partnership with Wincore and showing businesses in and around Parkersburg exactly what makes the Aim brand so special,” Gurska said.
Aim Transportation Solutions was named to Newsweek’s list of Top 100 Most Loved Workplaces.
