Step Up to the Plates: Taste of Parkersburg slated Saturday in downtown Parkersburg

PARKERSBURG — The 2023 edition of the Taste of Parkersburg will be held 5-11 p.m. Saturday at Bicentennial Park at Third and Market streets in downtown Parkersburg.

The event is an evening of food, wine, beer and music organized by Downtown PKB.

Tickets can be purchased online for $20 until midnight Friday. After that, tickets can be purchased at the door for $25.

To purchase advance tickets online, go to downtownpkb.com and click on the link in the announcement bar. Advance tickets can also be purchased in person at the registration desk of the Blennerhassett Hotel, 320 Market St., or at the office of Downtown PKB, 610 Market St.

The event features food available from establishments in Parkersburg.

Participating this year will be WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center, Chams Lebanese Cuisine, D’Paulo’s Pizzeria, El Mariachi, J.P. Henry’s, Mulberry Lane Country Store, Pappy’s Lip Smackin’ BBQ, Parkersburg Brewing Company, Philippines Best, The Blennerhassett Restaurant & Lounge, The Bodega, The Cocktail Bar, The Little Stirr, The Lost Anchor, Unity Cafe and Wine Down on Market.

Seventeen wine vendors and three beer trucks will be available, some with local selections.

Two local musical groups, The Hopewell and The Troubadours, will perform throughout the evening.

The Hopewell will take the stage at 5 p.m. and perform until 7:30. After a break from 7:30 to 8, The Troubadours will play until the end of the event at 11 p.m.
